Violet Disko

For the Humphrey assignment, straight edges and architectural rulers were not allowed in order to show how my design process works. Bubble diagrams were the first step in the design process for the Humprey residence. Organizing social, work, and private areas by their adjacencies to one another helped create a successful floor plan. Major and minor traffic patterns were also considered in designing these diagrams. After completing the floorplan, I expanded my ideas by drawing specific rooms that showed the clarity of the design. (created: February 2013)
