Lead Interior Designer

  • Responsible for working with the arch. & development team to coordinate and supervise the interior design process from conception of design to furnishing of community. Emphasis on developing an attractive and comfortable setting with specific “themed areas”, budgeting, specifying, ordering, scheduling, control, administration, and installation.

  • Design, purchase and oversee installation of all Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) including creative theme areas. Interpret plans and specifications. Coordinate interior design specifications with construction documents. Negotiate and manage vendor accounts to achieve maximum value in terms of product quality and pricing. Maintain liaison with the project team and owner to discuss modifications and satisfactory solutions to project problems; process pertinent change orders and make recommendations to project manager. Assist with final inspections and completion of the punch list.

  • Responsible for the interior design process included as (but not limited to): Floor to ceiling design specifications, Ceiling details, Flooring, Paint, Trim/Doors, Lighting specs, Interior signage, Finish schedules, etc. Ensure that Architects' drawings match the scope and intent of the design.

LOWE'S (Keizer, OR): October 2017-February 2019

  • Sales & project management role in designing, developing, and closing kitchen & bath project sales.
    Maintaining a thorough knowledge of sales, project management, and kitchen/bath
    remodeling and design.

  • Worked autonomously to guide project customers and drive collaboration across a team of store
    sales specialists in Cabinets, Fashion Plumbing, Appliances, Flooring, Fashion Electrical, Walls and
    Windows, etc.

  • Engaged in-home with customers during the entire project cycle and drove project decisions to
    ensure customer expectations are met. Provided an advanced combination of organization, planning,
    designing, teamwork, sales and customer service skills.

  • Interviewed customers and performed detailed site inspections to collect project specifications and
    develop comprehensive Kitchen & Bath plans/quotes. Presented plans to customers in-home or in-
    store and worked to close the sale thorough involvement in remodel production and
    overseeing site.

DJ ARCHITECTURE (Albany, OR): October 2015-October 2017                                                                            
Architectural Drafter/Interior Designer

  • Planned, designed, and specified projects for commercial offices, medical, hospitality, religious, healthcare, and residential installations. Involved programming, design development, spatial planning, FF&E selection, and specifications.

  • Guaranteed quality drawings while meeting deadlines and generated changes into client drawings by implementing CAD/Revit skills. Made architectural, structural, and interior design decisions related to commercial construction projects, utilizing building codes, and CAD extensively.
